This October, KTJ alumni gathered across London for a series of events that brought together graduates at different stages of their personal and professional journeys. From students embarking on their university careers to established professionals building lives and careers in the UK, each gathering reflected the strength, support and enduring connections of the KTJ alumni community.

Young Alumni Hi-Tea

On 2 October, nearly 20 of our youngest alumni came together for an afternoon hi-tea at Med Salleh Kopitiam in London. Many are now in their first weeks and months at university, making the gathering a timely opportunity to reconnect with familiar faces, share experiences and settle into this exciting new chapter.

The afternoon was filled with lively conversation, laughter and fond memories of life at KTJ, demonstrating that the friendships formed at school continue to thrive long after graduation.

Alumni Networking Evening at Asia House

Later in the week, more than 30 alumni attended our annual networking event at Asia House, London. The event was particularly valuable for second and third year university students exploring future career pathways and seeking industry insights.

We extend our sincere thanks to Iyngaran for organising another highly successful evening, which brought together 11 experienced professionals representing a diverse range of industries, including law, private equity, investment banking, medicine, actuarial science and tax advisory.

Through honest conversations, practical advice and personal reflections, our guest speakers provided invaluable guidance on navigating careers and professional development. Their willingness to support younger alumni exemplifies the collaborative spirit that defines the KTJ community.

Brunch with Established Alumni

The final event of the week brought together alumni who have been living and working in the UK for five years or more for a relaxed brunch at Sunday in Brooklyn.

The gathering provided an opportunity to reconnect, strengthen professional and personal networks, and reflect on the journeys that have taken alumni from KTJ to careers across a wide range of sectors. It was inspiring to hear stories of professional growth, new ventures and life experiences, while also seeing how willing alumni remain to support one another.

A Community That Lasts Beyond KTJ

While each event had a different focus, together they highlighted the remarkable strength of the KTJ alumni network. Whether taking first steps at university, exploring career options or well established in professional life, our alumni continue to build meaningful connections, offer support and celebrate shared experiences.

We are grateful to everyone who attended and helped make these events such a success, and we look forward to welcoming even more alumni to future gatherings around the world.
